Russia will check the involvement of Western intelligence agencies, including the British, in the terrorist attack on the Crimean bridge. About it declared Dmitry Polyansky, Deputy Permanent Representative of Russia to the UN.

“We have yet to figure out to what extent Western, in particular British intelligence services were cured in the preparation and implementation of this terrorist attack. Too many things point to this,” he said (cited by RIA Novosti).

Later, Reuters, citing a statement by a representative of the British Foreign Office informedthat London denies allegations of involvement in the undermining of the Crimean bridge on the night of July 17. “This is baseless speculation on the part of Russia and we will not dignify it with further comments,” the statement said.

On the night of July 17, three Ukrainian surface drones attacked the Crimean bridge. As a result of the incident, a married couple died, their minor daughter was injured. The Investigative Committee (IC) of Russia opened a case on the fact of the attack about a terrorist attack, which, according to the department, was being prepared on the instructions of the Ukrainian special services. In Ukraine, the damage to the Crimean bridge was called a “provocation”.
