Russia has requested an urgent meeting of the United Nations Security Council in connection with US strikes on Iraq and Syria, the country’s permanent mission said.
The meeting is scheduled for February 5.
On the night of February 3, the United States announced the defeat of at least 85 targets in Iraq and Syria in response to an attack on a military base in Jordan.
