Military analyst Korotchenko called for the creation of structures to eliminate terrorists abroad
The terrorist attack at Crocus City Hall suggests that it makes sense to create a special Russian security structure that would deal with the elimination of terrorists and organizers of terrorist attacks outside the country, similar to the 4th Directorate of the NKVD of the USSR. This statement was made by military analyst Igor Korotchenko.
He recalled the address of Russian President Vladimir Putin to Russians after the terrorist attack, during which the head of state announced that the Russian Federation would find and punish all those responsible for what happened. It is assumed that all of them may be located in other countries, including Ukraine.
“The question arises about the advisability of creating a unit in Russia similar to the 4th Directorate of the NKVD of the USSR, which was headed by General Pavel Sudoplatov,” said the editor-in-chief of the National Defense magazine.
He noted that the Soviet structure at that time was engaged in the liquidation of persons abroad who committed acts of sabotage and terrorism against citizens of the USSR.
