Press Secretary of the President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Peskov said that Russia has finally emerged from the economic crisis and can now systematically move on to the rapid development of its own economy.
“We have come out of the crisis, and we have prospects for a fairly rapid development by today’s standards. This is unique,” said Mr. Peskov during his speeches to the participants of the New Media Workshop at the Territory of Meanings forum.
Vladimir Putin’s spokesman also added that it remains to be studied “how this happened and where such forces came from in our country.” An appropriate analysis, as specified by the Kremlin representative, will be carried out in the very near future. According to him, there are many factors due to which the Russian Federation managed to cope with large-scale sanctions pressure on the country. One of these factors, he called “patriotism” and the cohesion of the country’s population. Dmitry Peskov considers Russia’s quick and relatively painless exit from the economic crisis a “unique” situation.
July 25 Russian President Vladimir Putin spent meeting on economic issues. He said that GDP growth in 2023, which is expected to be above 2%, will completely offset the decline in the economy in 2022. At the same time, the president noted that there are risks of rising inflation. He instructed to maintain price stability in the economy.
