Russia has banned the entry into the country of the Chairman of the Council of Television and Radio Broadcasting of Moldova, journalist Liliana Vitsu, and journalist Mikhail Sirkeli. This was announced by the official representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration of Moldova Igor Zakharov.
Vitsu and Sirkeli, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, are involved in restrictions on the rights of Russian journalists in the republic.
“The Ambassador of the Republic of Moldova, Lilian Darius, was informed of the decision of the Russian authorities to ban Liliana Vitsu and Mihail Sirkeli from entering the country,” he said (quote according to TASS).
