The Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation and the State Committee for Science and Technology of Belarus signed an agreement on scientific, technical and innovative cooperation. This was reported by the press service of the Russian Ministry.
According to the document, the countries contribute to the development and strengthening of scientific, technical and innovative cooperation, creating the necessary organizational, legal, financial and economic conditions for joint research and development.
“Cooperation between Russia and Belarus is successfully developing in various fields, including scientific and educational ones. I am sure that the new agreement will create the necessary organizational, legal, financial and economic conditions for the joint work of our scientists and researchers,” said Minister of Education and Science Valery Falkov.
Earlier today, Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin noted the well-coordinated work of the Cabinets of Russia and Belarus, saying that they coordinate all decisions as a team.
According to him, the main task is to raise the standard of living of citizens of Russia and Belarus, to achieve economic growth, “to form a single space on the principles of openness, transparency and mutual trust.”
