ANO “Russia – the Land of Opportunities” (RSV), created on the initiative of President Vladimir Putin, will conduct a special study “Talentist” together with ANCOR, aimed at identifying the preferences of Russians in work. The study will be conducted by an online survey, based on its results, the RSV plans to receive three ratings: the attractiveness of large employers in the Russian Federation, the attractiveness of economic sectors and the criteria for choosing a company to work. Commercial companies and companies with state participation will be evaluated.

RSV Director General, Acting Rector of the RANEPA Alexei Komissarov, answering journalists’ questions today, explained that his organization needs the project in order to improve its contacts with Russian employers. According to him, the participants of RSV personnel projects want to get new career opportunities for themselves, although they do not always talk about it directly. “And in order for them to get them, we need to work even more closely with employers, share with them the preferences of project participants. This will help to receive vacancies from employers that are interesting for our winners, and to unite both of them,” Mr. Komissarov explained one of the goals of the study. He also hopes that employers from federal and regional authorities will also pay attention to his results: “I think they will think about how to attract young people.”

RSV Deputy General Director Alexey Perventsev, who oversees the work of the organization’s recruitment agency, added that the study will help identify key trends in the perception of employers by young people. “I recently read an analytic that said that the demand for civil service jobs is growing. Our agency focuses primarily on working with state-owned companies and authorities. So: the number of vacancies is growing, but I would not say that the number of job seekers is growing,” said Mr. Perventsev.
