Rusagro’s depository receipts will replace Detsky Mir’s shares in the Moscow Exchange index

From March 17, the Moscow Exchange will change the bases for calculating share indices, as well as set the values ​​of coefficients and additional restrictive coefficients for securities of several issuers, informed press service of the exchange holding. As part of these changes, the depositary receipts of the foreign issuer Rusagro will be included in the base for calculating the indices of the Moscow Exchange and the RTS instead of the shares of Detsky Mir, which in November announced about changing from public to private.

Detsky Mir will also be excluded from the mid- and small-cap index, the broad market stock index, and the consumer sector sectoral index.

Now the Moscow Exchange index includes 40 companies. The index includes shares of the largest Russian issuers belonging to the main sectors of the economy. As of February 8, Detsky Mir was the stock with the lowest weight in the index (0.25%). February 20 exchange announcedwhich will apply a new methodology for calculating the weight of shares, taking into account additional weight coefficients calculated on the basis of information about the availability of securities for transactions.

In December, Rusagro Group announced about the intention to leave the London Stock Exchange against the backdrop of sanctions of the European Union against the National Settlement Depository and get a listing for global depositary receipts on the stock exchange of another country.
