FAS will limit the new owner of the Arkhyz resort in raising prices

The purchase of the Arkhyz resort by the Mountain Peaks company will be possible subject to a number of mandatory conditions, the Federal Antimonopoly Service of the Russian Federation (FAS) reports in its Telegram-channel.
The Antimonopoly Service intends to exclude the establishment by the new owner of Arkhyz of monopoly high prices for services for lifting passengers by funiculars, cable cars and ski lifts. In the event of a price increase of more than 5% during the year, Mountain Tops LLC will be obliged to coordinate its actions with the Federal Antimonopoly Service, providing an economic justification for the new price.
On January 30, the Mountain Peaks company sent a request to the Federal Antimonopoly Service for preliminary consent to the purchase of the Arkhyz resort in the Karachay-Cherkess Republic. The current owner of the resort is the state company Kavkaz.rf, the initial price of the transaction is 17 billion rubles, the investor will be obliged to build 30 km of tracks and develop the related infrastructure.
The founder of Mountain Peaks LLC is Andrey Skok, a business partner of the former Minister of Agriculture of the Russian Federation and the former head of the Krasnodar Territory Alexander Tkachev.
