Businessman Igor Rotenberg decided to completely sell his stake in the RT-Invest Transport Systems company, the operator of the Platon system, which is used to collect tolls for heavy trucks on federal highways. According to the source RBCMr. Rotenberg is selling his stake as part of a plan to exit the asset.
In 2015, Igor Rotenberg acquired 50% of RTITS, and then gradually sold part of his stake. At the time of the last transaction, the businessman owned 23.5% of the company’s shares. He decided to sell this share to another shareholder of the company, Anton Zamkov. He also holds the position of General Director of RTITS. In 2018, Mr. Zamkov already acquired a 7.5% stake in the company’s capital from Igor Rotenberg.
According to RBC’s interlocutor, the deal to sell the stake “is at the final stage.” Source “Vedomosti” clarified that the deal should be closed by the end of the year.
The largest stake in RTITS (50%) belongs to RT-Invest, which is part of the Rostec state corporation. Taking into account the deal to sell Igor Rotenberg’s share, Anton Zamkov will own 31% of RTITS shares, Andrey Shipelov – 19%.
The Platon system ensures the collection, processing, storage and automatic transmission of data on the movement of trucks weighing over 12 tons and applies to all public roads of federal significance.
