“Many of our banks are state-owned, that is, they pay dividends. All banks pay taxes and dividends. According to our estimates, banks can contribute almost a trillion rubles to the budget this year. And this can also be spent on relevant budget expenditures – social expenditures and to support the economy,” said Ms. Nabiullina (quoted by TASS).
