Rostelecom does not rule out the possibility of its subsidiaries going public in the future

PJSC Rostelecom (MOEX: RTKM) does not exclude that some of its subsidiaries will go public in the future. The head of the company, Mikhail Oseevsky, announced this “Interfax”.
“We do not exclude an IPO for some subsidiaries in the future, but only if these assets are ready and market conditions are favorable. While we are focused on developing the assets themselves, there are enough internal resources for this,” said Mr. Oseevsky.
He added that Rostelecom is currently preparing a new development strategy. The previous one, according to the head of the company, was fulfilled “even with some excesses.”
In April 2021, at the presentation of Rostelecom’s development strategy, company representatives spoke about plans to attract strategic partners or conduct an IPO of some key business areas.
