Rostec will multiply the production of kamikaze drones “Cube” and “Lancet” – Kommersant

Industrial Director of the complex of conventional weapons, ammunition and special chemicals of the Rostec State Corporation Bekhan Ozdoev on the occasion of Gunsmith’s Day, which is celebrated on September 19, told on the implementation of state defense orders. In particular, he said that thanks to the expansion of production capacity, the production of the “Cube”, “Lancet”, “Granat” and “Tachyon” drones will increase significantly.

Mr. Ozdoev noted that the enterprises involved in the implementation of the state defense order work around the clock. According to him, production volumes for various types of weapons have recently increased from two to ten times.

Separately, Bekhan Ozdoev drew attention to the significant increase in the production of precision weapons. For example, the production of drones has been expanded, which will increase the production of such models as “Cube”, “Lancet”, “Granat” and “Tachyon”. In addition, Kalashnikov doubled the production of Kitolov, Strela, Vikhr missiles, as well as 9M333 anti-aircraft guided missiles.

August 7, Russian President Vladimir Putin instructed state corporation “Rostec” to increase the production of kamikaze drones “Lancet” and “Cube”. According to him, these UAVs have demonstrated “very high efficiency” in the combat zone in Ukraine.
