The head of Rostec, Sergei Chemezov, said that the company’s production of tanks in 2023 increased seven times, light armored vehicles (infantry fighting vehicles, infantry fighting vehicles, armored vehicles) – four and a half times, artillery and MLRS – two and a half times, ammunition and some types of products – 60 times. He added that since the beginning of 2023, Rostec has produced 20 times more shells for MLRS than in the entire year of 2022.
In September, The New York Times, citing data from experts interviewed by journalists, reported that Russia, despite sanctions restrictions from the West, I could significantly increase the production of missiles, tanks and other weapons.
