The High-Precision Complexes holding (part of Rostec) has mastered the serial production of the latest airspace control system (ACCS). This allowed all purchase orders to be fulfilled.
“During operation, the SKVP radars have proven themselves to be the best and customers have confirmed the stated characteristics of the product for detecting and tracking unmanned aircraft and small aircraft,” said a representative of High-Precision Complexes TASS at the International Arms Exhibition World Defense Show 2024 in Riyadh.
The holding believes that the need for radar to detect drones has increased significantly. “High-precision complexes” offer customers not individual radars, but a system that includes workplaces, control points and integration with various defense systems from civil defense to air defense.
SST consists of radar stations with a fixed phased antenna array. There can be up to 24 such stations; they can be installed on tripods and mobile devices, as well as on the roofs of high-rise buildings. The system is capable of tracking up to 20 aircraft, as well as determining their type, flight altitude and distance to them. The detection range of small aircraft is at least 30 km, medium drones of the Orlan-10 type are at least 18 km, and small drones are 7 km. Capable of detecting air targets moving at a radial speed of up to 270 m/s.
