Rosstat: the share of unprofitable organizations in Russia in 2022 increased to 26.1%

In 2022, the share of profitable organizations decreased to 73.9% against 75.1% in 2021. The share of unprofitable organizations, respectively, increased to 26.1% from 24.9% last year. This follows from data Rosstat.

For 2022, the balanced financial result (profit minus loss) decreased by 12.6% compared to 2021 and amounted to more than 25.925 trillion rubles. 43.1 thousand organizations, follows from the data of Rosstat, made a profit of just over 31.31 trillion rubles. The loss of 15.2 thousand organizations amounted to almost 5.385 trillion rubles.

The largest decrease in the indicator is observed in organizations that are engaged in fishing (Kaliningrad region, Arkhangelsk region), as well as wholesale trade (with the exception of vehicles and motorcycles).

The loss is observed in organizations specializing in the transmission and distribution of steam and hot water (Krasnoyarsk Territory, Moscow), postal services and courier activities (Moscow).

Rosstat recorded high growth rates of the balanced financial result in construction (Chechnya, Buryatia), freight traffic (Moscow), hotel and catering activities (Bryansk and Volgograd regions).
