Rosstat reported on changes in consumer prices in March

Annual inflation in March slowed down to 3.51% compared to 10.99% a month earlier. By February, prices rose by 0.37%, informed Rosstat. Growth in consumer prices by 0.5% or more was recorded in 20 subjects of the Russian Federation.

In March, among food products, a noticeable increase in prices was observed for eggs – plus 3.6%. Of the fruit and vegetable products, the price of tomatoes has risen sharply – by 18.1%. Among non-food products, some medicines, smart watches, and TVs have become cheaper. In services, the cost of foreign and domestic tours, passenger transport has increased.
