Roskomnadzor has prepared a draft government decree on limiting anonymity on the Internet, Kommersant reports.
Reportedly, the document suggests that the equipment installed at providers under the law on the sovereign runet will be used to restrict access to anonymization tools.
According to the document, sites that allow users to surf the Internet anonymously will be subject to filtering. These include services that allow you to register on websites and instant messengers using a virtual phone number.
The material indicates that if the project is approved by the Cabinet of Ministers, the innovations will come into force on March 1, 2024.
