The Zaporozhye NPP remains a target for the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), which make at least 10 attempts to attack the station with drones every day, Renat Karchaa, adviser to the general director of the Rosenergoatom concern, said on Soloviev Live.
“As our specialists register, with the help of unmanned aerial vehicles [ВСУ] make at least 10 attempts per day to get to the Zaporozhye NPP,” – told Karchaa (TASS quote).
According to him, the Armed Forces of Ukraine are also trying to identify vulnerabilities in the ZNPP defense with the help of shelling. At the same time, the power units themselves are reliably protected, and a reliable protection system has been created around the vulnerabilities of the station, Karchaa added.
Zaporozhye NPP has been under Russian control since the end of February 2022. Since then, the plant and the city of Energodar, where it is located, have been subjected to regular shelling from Ukraine.
