Romanian Defense Minister Vasile Dincu posted a message on social networks about his resignation due to the impossibility of working together with President Klaus Iohannis.
“This morning, I submitted my resignation from the post of Minister of National Defense to Romanian Prime Minister Nicolae Chuca. I justify my gesture in terms of the impossibility of cooperation with the President of Romania, the Supreme Commander of the Army,” Dincu said.
Earlier, the Union for the Salvation of Romania (USR) party asked Prime Minister Nicolae Chuca to dismiss Dynka from the post of Minister of National Defense for his political statements on Ukraine. She even organized a discussion on the problem “Repeated missteps and the spread of Russian propaganda, the Minister of Defense damages Romania in relations with partners in the EU and NATO.”
Earlier, Dyncu said in an interview with one of the local TV channels that peace negotiations on Ukraine should be conducted by Russia with a number of countries of the world, NATO and the United States, since Ukraine itself cannot conduct such negotiations due to the fact that its political class “cannot afford to take responsibility for the loss of territories.
