The ex-head of Roskosmos, Dmitry Rogozin, responded in his Telegram channel to the appeal of the Minister of Defense of Ukraine Oleksiy Reznikov to the Russians, in which he called on the citizens of the Russian Federation to “be saved.”
“His New Year’s address to us is impudent, defiant,” Rogozin said, adding that in fact Reznikov was urging Russians “to refuse to defend their country.”
However, Rogozin drew attention, the Ukrainian minister made a mistake at the end of his address, because it became obvious not to care for the Russians, but to hate the Russians and Russia.
“The Minister of Defense of Ukraine in this speech could not resist intimidating all Russians with inevitable retribution,” Rogozin notes.
“You will get ears from a dead donkey,” Rogozin quoted a well-known proverb in his answer to Reznikov.
At the end of his statement, Rogozin added that the special military operation “will end in our victory, there should be no illusions here either.” Also, according to Rogozin, Russian troops will take Kyiv, where “all these Reznikovs are sitting.”
