The conflict in Ukraine should end according to the “Vietnamese scenario.” This statement was made by the head of the public movement “We are together with Russia” Vladimir Rogov, transmits “RIA News”.

“We do not need a “Korean” scenario, but a “Vietnamese” one, providing for the complete liberation of Ukraine from the intervention of Western countries, and above all the Americans,” he said, commenting on the words of former Supreme Allied Commander of NATO Europe, retired US Navy Admiral James Stavridis.

In an article for Bloomberg, Admiral compared fighting in Ukraine with the Korean War and admitted that in the end the conflict would be reduced to a freeze. In his opinion, Kyiv will have to, “at least for a while,” recognize that Crimea is part of Russia.

Rogov stressed that the Russian side will not be satisfied with freezing the conflict, since “its final solution is necessary.”

Against the backdrop of the start of a special operation in Ukraine, the West introduced large-scale sanctions against the Russian Federation, and also began providing military and financial assistance to Kyiv. Russian authorities have repeatedly criticized the transfer of foreign military equipment to the Ukrainian army.

Earlier, press secretary of the Russian President Dmitry Peskov statedthat it is time for Ukraine to understand that it cannot defeat Russia on the battlefield. According to him, only after this can the prerequisites arise for resolving the situation by “political and diplomatic means.” In the absence of such prerequisites, Russia continues its special operation in Ukraine, Peskov added.

He also said, that support for Kyiv by Western countries will decline, since “technical capabilities have their limits, money tends to run out.” According to Peskov, this process is also influenced by “emotional fatigue.”
