Rogov spoke about the situation on the line of contact in the Zaporozhye region

The direction of the city of Gulyaipole in the Zaporozhye region has become no less hot than Orekhovskoye, said Vladimir Rogov, a member of the main council of the regional administration, in his Telegram channel.

“Today at the Zaporozhye LBS [линии боевого соприкосновения] in addition to the Orekhovskoye direction, the Gulyaipolskoye became no less hot. Marines of the Pacific Fleet are on the attack. God willing, we are waiting for good news, ”- wrote he is in his Telegram channel.

Rogov today also told TASS that Russian forces are suppressing Ukrainian positions on the line of contact in the cities of Orekhov, Gulyaipole and the village of Kamenskoye. Earlier, the Ministry of Defense reported on the liberation of the village of Lobkove, which is located 9 km from Kamensky. According to Rogov, the Kyiv authorities no longer exclude the exit of Russian forces to Zaporozhye.

“Lobkovoe finally interrupts the possibility of transport communication between Kamenskoye and Orekhovo – two strategically important settlements, control over which makes it possible for the Armed Forces of Ukraine to hold the front line. Now directly Lobkovoe, located at a height, makes it possible to control the road and cut off the supply of both manpower and ammunition and weapons,” the official said.

Earlier today, Rogov said that Russian troops advanced about 7 km in the Zaporozhye region in a day, and at least seven settlements are being liberated. According to him, Ukrainian artillery, including M777 howitzers, “experiences an acute shortage of shells” after the attacks of Russian artillerymen on warehouses and positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation on Saturday also reportedthat in the Zaporozhye direction, as a result of offensive operations, units of the Eastern Military District occupied “more advantageous lines and positions.”

Russia’s special operation in Ukraine began on February 24, 2022. Putin named its goals the protection of the inhabitants of Donbass, as well as the demilitarization and denazification of Ukraine. During the special operation, Russian troops took full control of the LPR, as well as most of the DPR, Kherson and Zaporozhye regions. Subsequently, these territories became part of Russia, and on October 19 martial law was introduced in the regions.
