“The Ukrainian side has stepped up sabotage activities in the Zaporozhye sector of the front. Saboteurs are trying to penetrate deep into the territory, and are also conducting reconnaissance in force, ”he said.

He added that attempts by saboteurs to get into the part of the region controlled by Russian troops are being stopped.

Formerly Rogov informedthat on the evening of February 10, the Ukrainian military fired at Melitopol from the HIMARS MLRS, while Russian air defense managed to destroy most of the missiles on approach to the city, but several houses were damaged.

“Fragments of downed enemy missiles hit the private sector, as a result of which several private houses on Proletarsky Lane, as well as vehicles of local residents, were damaged,” Rogov wrote on his Telegram channel.

According to the official, a civilian was killed in the attack and another person was injured.

Before Rogov declaredthat against the backdrop of the supply of long-range missiles to Ukraine, the issue of advancing the front line 150 km deep into the “post-Ukrainian space” becomes relevant. He said that if you look at the line of contact, then not only the “traditional” Energodar, Melitopol and Berdyansk, but also Lugansk, Taganrog, Kurchatov, Kursk, Belgorod, as well as Crimea – Armyansk and Dzhankoy will be under threat.

Russia’s special operation in Ukraine began on February 24, 2022. President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin called the protection of the inhabitants of Donbass, as well as the demilitarization and denazification of Ukraine, its goals. During the special operation, Russian troops took full control of the LPR, as well as most of the DPR, Kherson and Zaporozhye regions.
