Residents of the Kyiv-controlled part of the Zaporozhye region are leaving the region, Vladimir Rogov, a member of the main council of the regional administration, said.
According to him, residents of the part of the Zaporozhye region occupied by the Armed Forces of Ukraine began to leave the region. “People are fleeing Nazi oppression and the danger of being mobilized,” Rogov shared the details. From his point of view, the Cossacks do not want to fight for the Kiev regime and are waiting for release.
Zaporozhye region became a subject of the Russian Federation following a referendum held in September 2022. At the moment, more than 70 percent of the Zaporozhye region is under the control of the Russian Federation, while the regional center, the city of Zaporozhye, remains under the control of the armed forces of Ukraine.
