Rogov reported on the shelling of the Armed Forces of Berdyansk

The Armed Forces of Ukraine (APU) shelled Berdyansk in the Zaporozhye region. About it informed member of the main council of the regional administration, chairman of the movement “We are with Russia” Vladimir Rogov in his Telegram channel.

According to him, a series of explosions sounded in the city around 16:30. According to preliminary data, the Ukrainian military hit Berdyansk with Storm Shadow missiles. As a result, the air defense system (air defense) worked. Rogov did not specify information about the presence of victims and destruction.

Half an hour later he informed about another blow to the city. Russian air defense was able to repel most of the missiles over the sea in the area of ​​​​the Berdyansk commercial seaport, Rogov noted. According to the official, one of the shells hit the territory of the city enterprise. Information about the victims and damage is being specified, he added.

Then APU fired upon the city of Tokmak, which is located 103 km from Berdyansk. According to Rogov, preliminary, the blow was delivered from the HIMARS MLRS. The air defense system shot down some of the missiles, he said.

Kyiv regularly shells the border regions of Russia. On September 30, 2022, according to the results of referendums, the DPR, LPR, Zaporozhye and Kherson regions became part of Russia. Since October last year, by decree of Russian President Vladimir Putin, martial law has been introduced in the regions. In June, the head of state during a conversation with military admitted creation of a “sanitary zone” on the territory of Ukraine in the event of continued shelling of border areas.
