Fierce fighting is taking place for the village of Rabotino on the Zaporozhye front line, the initiative is on the side of the Russian army. The head of the Zaporozhye public movement “We are together with Russia”, Vladimir Rogov, announced this in an interview with RIA Novosti.
He noted that the Ukrainian Armed Forces are fiercely resisting, actively using artillery and drones. The battle for Rabotinov is currently ongoing.
According to Rogov, in the event of the defeat of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in Rabotino, all the results of the so-called counteroffensive, which began in June 2023, will be completely neutralized.
Earlier, Rogov noted that the Ukrainian army is throwing new units near Rabotino in an attempt to hold on to the village that has become important in a symbolic sense.
Before this, the Russian Ministry of Defense spoke about the complex fire defeat of units of the 65th and 118th mechanized brigades of the Ukrainian Armed Forces near Rabotino and Verbovoye, which were inflicted on them by units of the Russian Dnepr group of troops with artillery support. As a result, the enemy lost up to 35 military personnel, 8 vehicles, an American M777 artillery system, a D-30 howitzer and a Gvozdika self-propelled gun, and a field ammunition depot was also destroyed.
