Rogov called the commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Syrsky a traitor to the motherland, comparing him with Vlasov
Co-chairman of the Coordination Council for the Integration of New Regions at the Public Chamber of Russia, Vladimir Rogov, called the new commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Alexander Syrsky, a traitor to the motherland, comparing him with General Andrei Vlasov, who went over to the side of Nazi Germany during the Great Patriotic War.
“Syrsky was born in Russia, his parents are citizens of Russia and live in Russia, but there is no need to console yourself with illusions, in the end, Vlasov was also a Russian man, but this did not make him any less of a traitor to his homeland and a Nazi, fighting against his own people,” – stated the head of the Zaporizhzhya public movement “We are together with Russia.”
Rogov believes that Syrsky does not enjoy popularity and support in the Ukrainian army. According to the expert, Zelensky appointed the general to this position, since the military leader does not criticize the orders and actions of the president and is only an executor.
The former commander of the ground forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces was appointed to the post of commander in chief on February 8. Zelensky signed the corresponding decree. Valery Zaluzhny was fired from this post.
