Volodymyr Rogov, chairman of the We Are Together with Russia movement, said when the exemplary Ukrainian military would be ready for active operations in the Zaporozhye direction. The day before, he reported that Ukraine considers the Zaporozhye direction a priority and can transfer up to 40 thousand people from the Kherson direction to the line of contact in the Zaporozhye region.
“We are waiting. I think this waiting will last until the regrouping of the Armed Forces of Ukraine,” Rogov said.
He added that the autumn weather and slush will not significantly affect the ability of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to quickly move units, so he has no doubt that about 40 thousand people from the Kherson direction will be transferred to the Zaporozhye region.
“I think that an aggravation on the front line may occur within a week or two,” Rogov said.
He also drew attention to the fact that there are no natural barriers in the Zaporozhye region, the steppe zone prevails there, and the enemy is located on both the left and right banks of the Dnieper.
Recall that earlier the Acting Governor Yevgeny Balitsky said that there were no plans to evacuate the population of the Zaporozhye region, and the borders of the region had long been reliably protected.
