Near Orekhov, Zaporozhye region, the Russian military launched a local offensive. This was announced by Vladimir Rogov, a member of the main council of the administration of the Zaporozhye region, transmits RIA Novosti agency.
“Our troops are holding their positions. The territory of the Zaporozhye region, liberated from Ukrainian militants, is gradually increasing,” he said.
Rogov specified that Orekhov is still under the control of the Ukrainian military. At the same time, the Russian forces managed to slightly move the front line in this area, as a result, the Armed Forces of Ukraine were forced to retreat to reserve lines.
