Rock and roll pioneer Jerry Lee Lewis dies

American musician Jerry Lee Lewis, considered one of the founders of rock and roll, has died at the age of 87.
The musician died at his home in Memphis, Tennessee on Friday, reports Associated Press quoting a press release from Representative Jerry Lee Lewis.
Notable hits include “Crazy Arms” (1956), “Whole Lotta Shakin’ Goin’ On” (1957), and “Great Balls of Fire” (1957).
Jerry Lee Lewis was one of the ten original members of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, created in 1986.
