Employees and criminologists of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation began work at the site of the Il-76 crash in the Belgorod region. An informed source spoke about this.
According to the source, experts will collect and study materials necessary for further investigation into the circumstances of the crash of the Russian military transport aircraft.
The Investigative Committee has not yet officially confirmed this information.
Previously, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine released a statement, in which he indirectly confirmed the downing of the Il-76 military transport aircraft by the Ukrainian military. It states that “the Ukrainian Armed Forces will continue to take measures to destroy delivery vehicles and airspace control in the Belgorod-Kharkov direction.”
