The passage of goods across the bridge across the Amur Blagoveshchensk-Heihe has been suspended due to malfunctions in the unified information system of the Federal Customs Service (FTS), Kommersant reports from the Amur Region. Failures have been recorded since the morning of April 10, about which informs official Telegram channel of the Federal Customs Service. The agency pointed out that the performance of customs operations in a number of cases is difficult.
“According to preliminary information, this situation is caused by external influence on the IT resources of the FCS of Russia. At present, specialists, including the law enforcement unit, are taking the necessary measures to eliminate failures,” the customs officers said.
Failures, in turn, led to technical restrictions on the work of customs authorities at the Kani-Kurgan international automobile checkpoint. In this regard, a message appeared in the account of the administrator of the electronic queue for participants in foreign economic activity.
“In the direction of China, only empty vehicles will be temporarily released. Cars with cargo registered in the electronic queue will be rescheduled for another time after the restrictions are lifted. Also, booking in the electronic queue has been temporarily suspended. We apologize for the inconvenience.” informs news channel of electronic queue.
Participants of international transportation are promised to be informed about the resumption of bookings additionally. According to data from March 2023, about 150 vehicles crossed the border in both directions on the bridge per day.
