According to local residents, the first major accident occurred five years ago. The resulting hole was quickly patched, but it was not possible to completely repair it. At the same time, the house was declared unsafe back in 2016.
Some apartments have been resettled, but the rest still cannot wait in line for housing.
Residents of the five-story building said that the gas in the house was turned off eight years ago, as the gas supply system was worn out. Because of this, people have to use electric stoves, but the old wiring does not hold up, sparks and sometimes shorts. And due to constant humidity, the ceiling collapses.
