Court: Kamchatka resident punished for discrediting the army
The Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky City Court determined the punishment for a local resident found guilty of discrediting the Russian Armed Forces.
As the court was told, the woman disseminated information discrediting the Russian army in a chat on the WhatsApp messenger. During the trial, the citizen explained that she had been misunderstood. In fact, her negative statements were allegedly directed at the Ukrainian military.
The linguistic examination carried out did not confirm the offender’s words. She was found guilty of an administrative offense and given a fine of 30 thousand rubles.
