Member of the upper house of Congress, Republican Mitt Romney said that his party colleagues left the briefing, which was organized at the request of the administration of US President Joe Biden. At the meeting it was planned to discuss financial assistance to Ukraine and Israel.
Parliamentarians from the Republican Party made this decision due to the fact that they did not receive a response to their proposals from the Democrats.
“Republicans walked out of the briefing because the people there were not willing to discuss what it would take to get a deal done,” Romney said.
