“Relocant is already suspicious” – Kommersant FM

Vyacheslav Volodin sharply criticized the so-called relocants. According to the State Duma speaker, trouble awaits, in particular, those who sympathized with Ukraine and wished it victory. At the same time, Tatarstan parliamentarians proposed changing the legislation so as to hold accountable those who are abroad and discredit Russia and its armed forces. The bill could soon be introduced into the lower house. Kommersant FM political commentator Dmitry Drize fears that no one will eventually return to their homeland.

After the start of the war in the Middle East, Dmitry Peskov was asked whether the so-called relocants – that is, citizens who left the country for one reason or another – could return home without fear. The press secretary of the Russian President was surprised how his homeland could threaten.

Before society had time to comprehend all this, the Chairman of the State Duma, Vyacheslav Volodin, made it clear that it was better for the relocants not to return. Not everyone, of course, but those who supported the Nazi Kiev regime, called for sanctions against Russian individuals and legal entities, rejoiced at terrorist attacks on the regions of the Russian Federation – Magadan was provided to all of them for their “dastardly deeds.”

Here you still need to make a small remark: the fact is that the Criminal Code does not have the concept of “dastardly acts.” And how do we understand “the joy of terrorist attacks” from a legal point of view? Go figure, maybe the person had such a good time abroad, so he rejoiced. And it won’t be difficult to tie Ukraine to this. Especially if you want. And in general, now is not the time for joy. However, they have not yet been punished for this.

And here is another coincidence: sensitive parliamentarians from Tatarstan discovered gaps in the legislation. The “fifth column” has multiplied abroad, some went there, degenerated, abuse freedom of speech, and preventive measures cannot be applied to them. We need to fix all this. Register it in law and punish those who slander.

The bill is currently undergoing examination and, apparently, will soon go to the State Duma with a great prospect of adoption. Vyacheslav Viktorovich described in general terms how all this will look and who will be punished. It is not entirely clear why another law is needed, since a Russian citizen remains a citizen regardless of his location, and it is not a problem to attract him in absentia, as well as to seize assets as an interim measure.

It’s not hard to guess what all this entails. Few people will ultimately want to return. Because the risks are increasing. Whether the relocant was happy or sad is already suspicious. Others will say: I sat quietly and didn’t say anything. No, dear comrade, we have different information about this. There were sins – the air of freedom intoxicated you, you allowed yourself too much. And I didn’t even notice it myself.

You need to watch your language not only at home. This is exactly the signal that is read here. As for personnel losses and a shortage of IT specialists, it is clear that the corresponding threats are greatly exaggerated. We can cope without relocants.
