A military man from the LPR, Mikhail Yanko, who was recently released from Ukrainian captivity, spoke about the diet in the Ukrainian prisoner-of-war camp “West-1”.
According to Yanko, who worked in the camp’s canteen, they mostly served porridge for breakfast.
“For the most part, there was water, very little of the cereal itself. For 70 people – 10 liter bowls of cereals and six or seven buckets of 10 liter water,” said a military man from the LPR.
He clarified that for lunch they were given “liquid soup”: a five-liter bucket of potatoes and about four-liter bowls of cereals. The second course was usually served with 270 grams of mashed potatoes.
“It was written on paper that 27 grams is a piece of meat. Salad – less than one tablespoon. There was no sugar in the diet,” Yanko added.
