The Federal Antimonopoly Service approved an 8% increase in gas tariffs for Gazprom (regulated prices) from July 2024, for all categories of consumers – from July 2025. FAS order published on the official portal of legal information.
This is the first price change in the last year and a half: in December 2022, the tariff was increased by 8.5%. At the same time, in the forecast of the Ministry of Economic Development for 2023 and 2024-2025, it was reported that gas tariffs should increase by 7% in the period announced by the FAS.
The press service of the FAS reported “Interfax”that the increase in tariffs will make it possible to receive funds that are planned to be directed to the gasification of regions and the construction of new gas pipelines.
