Regional programs that have been adopted in all regions since July 2023 and are financed by the constituent entities will also be taken into account. “The President decided to allocate additional financial support to the regions; this will require a meaningful rethinking of the programs, taking into account the first six months of their work. In addition, we are waiting for Rosstat data on the demographic situation at the end of 2023,” said Mrs. Batalina. According to her, the authorities will conduct an additional analysis of the implementation of programs in the first six months and, taking into account the results of democratic development, will assess the number of regions that need support.
President Vladimir Putin announced a new national project “Family” in his address to the Federal Assembly. He noted that in 39 regions the total fertility rate was below the Russian average. By the end of 2030, they plan to allocate at least 75 billion rubles to such regions.
