Regions will not be charged for demonstrating their own achievements at VDNKh

Participation of Russian regions in the exhibition of achievements of the XXI century. Vedomosti reported on April 5, citing sources close to the presidential administration, that at the exhibition of achievements of the XXI century. one large pavilion and separate pavilions of Russian regions and state corporations will be organized. At the same time, he does not undertake to evaluate the “exhaust” from participation for the region itself. A source in another administration told Vedomosti that the authorities consider participation in the exhibition at VDNKh “as an additional social burden.” “Of course, these are costs. Therefore, we will try to show everything that the region is proud of at our stand. To make our stand a place of attraction and attract tourists, applicants, and qualified personnel to us,” the interlocutor said.

Both sources say they are considering making the stands interesting for families with children. “This is the main task – so that everything can be touched, played. Interactive is needed,” the interlocutor said.

According to one of Vedomosti’s sources, the costs could amount to tens of millions of rubles.

The directorate explained that the pricing policy has not yet been finally approved. The task of the directorate is to minimize the costs of exhibitors, since this is not a commercial exhibition, they noted.
