Redistribution in the labor market: the demand for professions with reservations has grown sharply

The Russian labor market is beginning to adapt to the new mobilization conditions. For example, with the fact that a reservation from the army becomes a significant bonus for any vacancy. And such offers – come, we will arrange you on the labor front – are quite frequent on the market. But in order to use them, a man must be a worker, and not just any, but qualified. And if his profession is one of the common ones, you need to prepare for a discount.

Labor market statistics trumpet stability, but this stability is slightly skewed in one direction. Most of the vacancies over the past week, according to hh.ru portal statistics, appeared in the civil service, in the automotive business and in production. The revival of these sectors is noticeable even with a cursory view of the ads. Eternal, it would seem, administrators in fitness clubs, hostesses and similar workers in the service sector, even in Moscow, were pressed by workers: they are looking for drivers, builders, machine operators.

Moreover, some salaries downright make the average Moscow intellectual regret that he did not go to vocational school in his time. However, even more envy among many is the mark, which is increasingly found in ads: “Armor from the army.”

Category C driver (for dump trucks) – 130–180,000 rubles per month and booking. Explanation from the personnel officer of the company: “We work with the military-industrial complex complex.” The rest is not for the public. Although it is still interesting, where in the military-industrial complex are the Chinese construction dump trucks mentioned in the announcements used?

100-160 thousand rubles a month (and again a reservation) can be obtained by contracting a master finisher to restore Mariupol. Moreover, the announcement was published for Moscow, and it is alleged that Moscow companies work there.

True, the rules of the construction companies in Mariupol are the same as in the PMC “Wagner” on a video well-known in social networks. We quote: “Full devotion to work. Do not drink (dismissal followed by sending home). Be prepared for an irregular working day (reception of material, cleaning, etc.).” In general, they don’t shoot for “sins” in front of the ranks – and that’s good. No, really a good option for those who have the right qualifications.

There are also quieter places where there is a reservation and at the same time workers are needed. For example, the city of Kurchatov in the Kursk region (it is also the town of the Kursk NPP). The compressor worker for the station itself – a salary of 55 to 100,000 rubles. The bus driver – the “ceiling” is a little smaller. The city is “Rosatom”, so the reservation there is quite real, you can believe it.

Those who have a good qualification as a machine operator (milling operator, CNC, whatever, but the higher the rank, the better) are now being chased in the defense industry. Not in Moscow, however, for the most part – well, it’s understandable, the majority of Moscow industrial zones have been withdrawn. The prices are as follows: a universal milling machine operator 85–100 tr, a CNC machine operator 105–115 tr, a welder – 100–110 tr. “Relocation” – to Vyksa (Nizhny Novgorod region) and Shumerlya (Chuvashia). They also produce armored vehicles there.

Strangely, in some other regions, the same vacancies with the same reservation are paid much more modestly. So, in Vladimir, the operator-adjuster of a CNC milling machine will receive 45-80 thousand, and an electronic engineer (in the list of duties – repair and maintenance of a motley machine park) in Rostov-on-Don – in general 40-60 thousand. But the reservation is a fact.

“This difference in wages may be due to the presence or absence of a ready-made workforce on the spot,” Dmitry Degtev, an expert on regional development, explained to MK. – We need to look at the socio-demographic structure, how many people work on a rotational basis in the capitals, and so on. And also, of course, the usual salary level for the region. For example, a resident of Vladimir is unlikely to go to work in Shumerlya on a rotational basis, even if there will be more earnings.

The reservation gives a strong discount to the standard salary offer for those specialties that are not “in the day with fire”. So, for example, a body painter in Voronezh (full-time with reservation) costs up to 80 thousand rubles. This is despite the fact that in peacetime “in the wild” such a master earns significantly (sometimes twice) a lot of money.

But, by the way, a car painter is quite a qualification, there are just a lot of applicants here. But for those who work in the service sector and do not have a good working profession, it will be much worse. Statistics of personnel portals show that the number of active resumes of “workers in the sports sector, tourism, marketing and administrative staff” is growing steadily. But there are not many vacancies for them – and even with armor from the army.
