According to the Telegram channel Readovka, local nationalists beat a Russian couple in a restaurant in Bishkek.
A group of Kyrgyz nationalists in the restaurant were loudly expressing dissatisfaction with the Slavs and Russia. The Russian-speaking girl began to shoot them on the phone. Then they took away her gadget, and then beat her husband.
The waiters tried to push the attackers away, and then called the law enforcement officers, who stopped the fight. However, only one of the attackers was taken to the department, and the rest dispersed.
Now the victim claims that the investigator from the Oktyabrsky District Department of Internal Affairs is trying to close the case. And when the couple wrote about it on social networks, they faced massive threats and death wishes. Other Slavs living in Bishkek admitted on social networks that they also often face harassment based on ethnicity.
