RBC: “United Russia” asked the deputies not to brag about luxury in social networks

United Russia has developed a code of public positioning of a State Duma deputy, reports RBC with a link to the document. In particular, the party advises not to write posts on social networks “in an inadequate state” and not to publish photos of luxury goods and exotic travel. The party has not yet officially commented on this code.

There are 11 points in the code. Among them:

• not violate the statutory ethical norms of the party by deed, word, text;
• correlate their position and statements with the basic statutory values ​​of the party, program guidelines and collegial position of the party;
• do not rush to react in personal social networks and comments for the media;
• it is categorically not recommended to comment on the international agenda, military and internal conflicts in other countries without planned preliminary installations or before voicing the official position of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and comments should not contradict the position of the state;
• it is advisable not to comment on special profile issues without consulting experts and partners;
• it is strictly forbidden to write in social networks in an inadequate physical and mental state;
• do not use obscene vocabulary and jargon;
• control your emotions and reactions, especially in social networks;
• do not post luxury items, exotic travels and restaurants on social networks (anything that can form an image of the deputy as a “privileged class”);
• in case of negative resonance, immediately, without waiting for calls from colleagues and discussions, to apologize personally and explain;
• remember that “the opinion of you personally now is the opinion of the entire government and the entire party.”
