RBC: the government appreciated the idea of transferring confiscated items to the Ministry of Emergency Situations and the Ministry of Defense

RBC, referring to the materials for the meeting of the government commission on legislative activity, which is to be held on January 16, said that the Government of the Russian Federation supported the bill on the transfer of confiscated light industry goods to the Ministry of Emergency Situations and the Ministry of Defense. The confiscation will take place for defense and humanitarian purposes.
According to the publication, the fact that this bill has already been approved at a meeting of the government commission was reported in the press service of the government.
At the moment, light industry goods that were confiscated in cases of administrative offenses are being transferred to the Federal Property Management Agency for destruction. The new bill, in turn, proposes to provide for the possibility of their transfer to the Ministry of Emergency Situations and the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.
