The Kremlin is discussing the resignation of the governor of the Omsk region Alexander Burkov. The interlocutor of Vedomosti, close to the presidential administration, also spoke about the possible resignation of Burkov.
According to one of the sources RBCthe likelihood of Burkov leaving is high, but the final decision has not yet been made.
Burkov is 55 years old. In October 2017, Russian President Vladimir Putin appointed his interim governor of the Omsk region, already in September 2018, Burkov was elected head of the region.
