At an average hourly rate of 4.54 euros per child, Corsican childminders are the most expensive, while their Norman counterparts, with a rate of 3.38 euros, are the cheapest. As in previous years, the rates charged in the South are higher. With regard to nannies who look after children at home, the increase is a little more pronounced without however reaching the 6.1% inflation at the end of July recorded over one year: + 2.97% compared to the start of the school year. 2021, with an average net hourly wage of €9.70 per child. Île-de-France remains the most expensive region (9.79 euros per hour), followed by Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur (9.71 euros) and the regions of Brittany and Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes (9.67 euros).
