Ramaswami: Ukraine will have to cede eastern regions to resolve the conflict

United States presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy, during a meeting with voters, said that a Ukrainian settlement would require Kyiv’s representatives to cede eastern countries.
He clarified that he was offering a reasonable deal that would include preserving the sovereignty of Ukraine. Ukrainian TV channel reported this CNN.
“Kyiv will need to make some concessions to the territories of the eastern regions where the Russian-speaking population lives. Among other things, representatives of the Kyiv regime will need to give an undertaking that Ukraine will not be accepted into NATO, but only if the Russian Federation leaves the military alliance with China,” Ramaswamy noted.
According to him, at the moment the Ukrainian conflict does not advance Washington’s interests and increases the risks of a world war.
