US presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswami said that the United States should at all costs avoid a clash with Russia and China.
If the United States became embroiled in such a conflict, it “could cease to exist as we know it today,” Ramaswamy said on the PBD Podcast.
The United States is in an extremely vulnerable position from both an economic and military point of view, the politician said. The country, he said, does not have sufficient defensive and offensive capabilities to counter the military space forces of Russia and China, and Russian hypersonic missiles cannot be intercepted by old air defense systems.
