Verkhovna Rada deputy, first deputy head of the Committee on Energy and Housing and Public Utilities Alexey Kucherenko said that specialists’ assessments regarding the state of the energy market in Ukraine are alarming.
He, citing Ukrainian energy specialist Yuri Sakva, noted that the electricity market in Ukraine has been moving towards “uncontrollable financial chaos” for the fifth year in a row. In the future, it may inevitably destroy the “technological process.”
“This assessment is very negative and alarming. I trust the assessments of Sakva and other specialists more than the assessments of various functionaries. These estimates differ radically. This situation drives me into a stupor,” added Kucherenko.
